City Castings Corporation |
Established
in 1981, Port City Castings has moved into our
newest , 60,000 sq. ft. facility . Here we utilize
A380 Aluminum Alloy. All aluminum die casting processes are
automated using “visi – track”
technology, ensuring process repeatability and
product flow.
Secondary finishing includes vibratory de-burring,
buffing, finishing and machining. Operations are
controlled through dedicated gauges, vision (video)
inspection, and magnetic thread detection equipment.

Muskegon
Castings Corporation |
Established
in 1995, Muskegon Castings Corporation, specializes
in high volume synchronous aluminum die casting applications. This
36,000-sq. ft. facility also utilizes A380 Aluminum
Alloy. Our material handling employs an enclosed
launder system to deliver molten aluminum to each
“cell. We utilize underground scrap conveyors
to move gates and over flows immediately back
to the main melting furnace. Muskegon Castings
also employs “visi-track” process
monitoring equipment to ensure process repeatability.

Established
in 1987, Port City Metal Products employs a 24,000
sq. ft. facility. to handle any medium to large
size zinc die casting application. Melting of the material is
handled independently at each maufacturing cell,
allowing us to manufacture product castings in a
variety of zinc alloys.
Press sizes range from 150 to 650 tons allowing
us Here we perform our conventional zinc die-casting
using zinc #3 and #5. |

This business unit specializes
in small, complex, flash free zinc parts. For small
zinc die castings, this process offers advantages
over conventional processing including:
-Faster cycle times
-Tighter tolerances
-Instant response to process variation
-Lower overall cost
-Faster turn around times
Tumbling, vibration, or thermal de-burring processes
replace costly trimming operations.
